Fun Science Project

“Project Fun Science” was simply an awesome experience, we had young people from age 8 to 18 attend the three day workshop. Our workshop leader, Irene Van from the RYSE Center in Richmond, CA was very energetic and enthusiastic and the young people really got a kick out of working with her. She kept the youth engrossed with science project such as homemade lava lamps, elephant toothpaste, and bouncy balls with is similar to the flubber that’s seen in the 1997 motion picture movie “Flubber”.  “Project Fun Science” was intended to introduced young people to various science concepts in a fun and safe environment and encourage youth to see science as a way to solve problems instead of a barrier.
